A simple workflow
This workflow is our own suggestion, not vendor documentation.
- Talk through the task out loud and write rough bullets.
- Ask the assistant to turn the bullets into a numbered checklist.
- Do the task yourself using only the checklist and fix gaps.
- Have a new person try it and note where they get stuck.
- Employment and pay rules vary by state; check job posts and policies with a qualified professional.
Copy-paste starter prompt
Turn these rough notes into a numbered checklist a new hire could follow. Keep it under 12 steps. Mark anything unclear with a question: [notes]
